Bible Story Crafts For Kids – Garden Of Eden Bible Craft

This bible story crafts for kids to make can also be called “The Creation Craft.” The main purpose of Bible crafts for kids are to reinforce the Bible lesson. This is a crafts suitable for kids of all ages. The little kids will need help though, so be sure to have a few helpers on hand. In this bible story craft for kids we are going to plant a garden in a bottle to represent God’s creation. The craft can be preceded by a reading of Genesis 1: 1 – 2: 3 and then the kids can be encouraged to partake in the making of a garden in a bottle. If the group is large it will be best to let the kids make more than one garden.

Afterwards they can take turns to give the garden a good spray every week. This will reinforce the lesson and we can also include a short lesson on the importance of caring for God’s creation as He instructed us in Gen 2:15: “God took the Man and set him down in the Garden of Eden to work the ground and keep it in order.”

What you need for this bible craft:

First you need to get hold of a large jar with it’s lid, the kind that you’ll probably be able to get from a restaurant, make sure the opening is big enough to fit your hand in Some pebbles Potting soil from your garden center Small plants such as moss and ferns, you’ll also be able to get these from your garden center Loose pieces of bark if you can find them (please do not tear them from a tree as this damages the tree!) A large spoon A spray bottle with water
Teacher’s Prep:

Wash the bottle and make sure it is completely clean. Prepare a suitable work area for the kids so as to prevent them from making too much of a mess. Make preparations for them to be able to wash their hands after the lesson.
How to do this Bible Story Craft:

Cover the bottom of the bottle with the pebbles. Now spoon in the potting soil. Decide on the arrangement of your plants and bark and carefully plant them in the bottle. Remember that plants need space to grow, so do not plant them too close to each other. Take your time with this, work carefully and make sure not to damage your precious plants. Now you give the garden a good spray and cover the bottle with the lid. The lid will keep the moisture in but, it will still be necessary to give the garden a spray at least once a week.

What is the Beast of Revelation and its Mark?

The prophet Daniel gave us a 2300-year prophecy that spanned up to the year 1844, depicting when the end-times of earth’s history would begin.

There are several prophecies in the book of Revelation that tell us about the very last days and the signs to look for and with these comes a severe warning of the consequences of taking the Mark of the Beast Revelation 14:10-11 “The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name”.

It also tells us that those who take the Mark were deceived Revelation 19:20 “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast…”.

This shows clearly that the Mark of the Beast will not be something obvious. Those who take the Mark of the Beast on their hand (depicting their actions) or on their forehead (depicting their decisions) will do it unknowingly, because they have not studied the prophecies and have not known what to look out for.

Many people don’t realize also that there are two marks, the mark of the beast and the mark or seal of God, and that both of these marks revolve around worship. Revelation shows that those who love and worship God, honouring Him in the way He has requested will be sealed with His Mark by the angels.

The Bible shows that the difference between the two groups of people is that the followers of God are the ones who keep all of His Ten Commandments Revelation 14:11-12 “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus”.

This proves then that the Mark of the Beast cannot be a microchip or a tattoo of 666 as some have suggested. The Mark of the Beast, in line with the rest of the book of Revelation is symbolic.

The mark on our forehead reflects our conscious decisions to either follow God, or to disobey Him. When it speaks about Christians living forever in the New Heaven and New Earth it says that we will have His name on our foreheads, again being symbolic not literal Revelation 22:4-5 “And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads…”

The Beasts (prophetically a political or religious ruling power) have been identified as political-religious governments that follow apostate (non-Biblical) doctrines and inflict persecution on the true followers of God, who obey His commandments.

The First Beast is a historical figure and was identified by many of our early church founders as the Roman Catholic Church, as she met all of the prophetic criteria given in the books of Daniel and Revelation. Martin Luther aptly conveyed the sentiments of the Protestant reformers when he said “We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist…personally I declare that I owe the Pope no other obedience than that to Antichrist.” (Aug. 18, 1520) Taken from The Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers, Vol. 2., pg. 121 by Froom.

The Second Beast, which is yet to emerge has been acknowledged by many leading Bible scholars as being a merging of State and Religion in America at some stage in the future.

What was the Mark of the First Beast? The Catholic Church in much of its literature claims that changing the Sabbath to Sunday is the “Mark of her authority”.

The Seal of God, His Name (Lord), Title (Creator) and Realm (Heaven and Earth) are referenced within His Fourth Commandment to keep His Seventh Day Sabbath and as we are clearly shown those who are true to God will be keeping ALL of His commandments.

Revelation also speaks of the First Beast as a Mother, meaning that she has daughter churches and in effect the Protestant churches who follow the apostate teaching of observing Sunday as the day of worship instead of the “Friday evening to Saturday evening” Sabbath of the Bible, are making themselves the daughters of the ‘Harlot Woman riding the Beast’ of Revelation unawares.

This does in no way mean that God does not have His faithful people in many denominations today. To the contrary, there are many true and faithful believers who are simply ignorant to the fact that they are breaking one of God’s sacred commandments by not upholding His true Sabbath day. But Revelation tells us that God will call these people out of the apostate churches and into His final remnant church Revelation 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues”.

Two Witnesses of Biblical Book of Revelation

We read in the 11th chapter of the biblical book of Revelation that Creator is going to send us two witnesses in the End Days. It is foretold that these two witnesses will prophesy for about 3 1/2 years, at which time they will be killed by the one who comes out of the bottomless pit.

What will be the ‘witness’ of these two prophesied witnesses? Since they are sent by Creator, and they are His witnesses, it would stand to reason they will witness His truth, they will witness Him.

Truth is fairly self-explanatory, but which elements of truth will the two witnesses address? I understand they will witness truth to expose the erroneous teachings of Christianity for one thing, especially since Christianity professes to follow Jesus the Christ, but denies his teachings. (Read Luke 10:25-28.) Instead, ‘Christians’ of today appear to have made a golden calf (symbolic), named it ‘Jesus’, and have applied men’s doctrines to it, instead of Jesus’ teachings. They appear to idolize this golden calf and worship it.

Christianity teaches that works cannot carry us into eternal life, however, this is only a partial truth, and very misleading to the weakest among us. It is written that faith without works is dead. (Read James 2:26) Then again it is written that the dead shall be judged according to their works. (Read Rev. 20:12-13.)

How do ‘works’ fit into the picture of gaining eternal life? It is understood that a loving, compassionate heart will produce ‘good’ works, and a heart full of darkness and evil will produce ‘evil’ works. Creator reads the heart. That is why it is said that we will be judged by our works. However, it is not only the works themselves, because anyone can choose to do something that will look to others like it is a good work, yet the true intent may be to do evil or be merely self-serving. Instead, Creator sees the loving heart that is producing good works, and He will judge with all truth. These loving people will be invited to reside with Him in His heavenly Kingdom.

How will these two witnesses witness Creator? It is my understanding, from reading scripture and from personal experience, that Creator is Unconditional Love. Therefore, in order for the two witnesses to witness Creator, they will witness Unconditional Love. They will not only talk about unconditional love–they will be living it. I think, maybe, that this may only be possible when Creator gives them His Power, but I believe it still has to be the choice of each of these two witnesses. I believe it is when one reaches a state of oneness with Creator that he or she can truly live Unconditional Love, as Jesus did when he prayed on the cross for his tormentors–Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

Are these two witnesses alive today? It would seem that we are living in the End Days and that would infer that they are indeed resident in today’s world. But does anyone yet know who they are? Although most Christians believe the two witnesses will be two men, I have had revelation that one of them is a woman, and is indeed alive at this time.

How do Christians guys meet Christian girls?

Let me explain why the four most obvious answers don’t work for us:

1) Join a christian club/group at your college.
We go to community college, no Campus Crusade/Christian groups

2) Try a Bible Study.
I never liked this setting, meeting in someone’s house under certain terms in a small group discussing various lessons. Great for learning, not for making friends.

3) Church.
My buds and I feel guilty when we flirt with girls at church, it’s just an awkward feeling.

4) Try an internet dating site.
I think I would find it hard to carry on a relationship with a picture on a computer screen or a voice on the phone.

These were all answers we got a while ago, we each tried them out with no luck.

Smart alec responses are not appreciated.
I’ve been told a couple of times to look for a girl with a great personality and not worry so much about religion.

I did that, met an amazing girl, who happened to be a ******** Wiccan.

Let’s just say after a lot of unneccessary drama I’ve since vowed to keep myself involved with Christians only.
